Kindergarten Graduation

Wyatt had his kindergarten graduation on Wednesday. It was really cute. They sang some songs and then had a little slide show. I was alreay having a hard time not crying - and then they had to go and play these songs that talked about - it seemed like you just fit in the palms of my hands and stuff like that in the slide show. I'm not sure if it was Alabama or who that sang the songs. It was really touching. I can't believe he is going into first grade. Where does the time go?

Yesterday I went and helped his teacher. They were having an ice cream party. The kids piled on toppings, sprinkles, and whipped cream. It was fun to see them so excited.

Preschool fun

Today was Morgan's last day of pre-school for the year. Her teacher put together the cutest gift for each of the kids parents. Through out the year, she had taken lots of pictures. She made a book for each child. It had all of the holidays and fun crafts that they had done in the book. Here are a few of them. Thanks Miss Jenny!

Soccer

Today was Wyatt's last soccer game. He has had a lot of fun playing. I forgot to sign him up last year, so this was his first year playing. It's so funny to watch them at this age. What's even funnier, is listening to the parents (including myself.) The parents get so into it. Wyatt was so cute today - after each goal that was made, he jumped up and down with his arms up. He was so excited. He always kept track of the score. It was fun to watch him and his team play!

Be careful what you say around kids!

I was printing out my young women lesson for tomorow and Greg and Morgan came upstairs. I have all of my young women stuff in the extra room upstairs. I have camp stuff, papers, and lots of other young women stuff all over in that room. Greg said to me, "What are we going to do in here with all of this stuff?" Morgan said, "Yeah, mom has a lot of crap!" I asked Greg - I wonder where she got that from? I think she's heard it from Greg one too many times!

Lady Antebelum

I put this song on my playlist because it's Morgan's favorite song. She sings it constantly. She really loves it when it comes on the radio in the car.
We were coming home from swimming lessons today and it came on. She was singing her
little heart out. All of a sudden she said, "Mom, I really like the part that says "I'm a little drunk." I about died. I was hoping she never really caught on to those words. So then, Wyatt pointed out every time the song said it. I may need to rethink this song!

Good Luck Fisher Family!

Today we got together and had kind of a "going away" party for Jill and her kids. They are headed to California to be with Richard while he goes to school for the military. We went to lunch, took the kids to the Peppermint Place, chatted, chatted some more, got pizza for dinner, and chatted a little more. It was a really fun day.
We are going to miss Jill and her family so much! It didn't really sink in until the drive home! I hope we see her soon - a trip to California would be really fun!!!
